Beth was really tired so I made her sleep whilst I went for a run to Ashton Court and I tried to find a chippy near the bridge. Found one later on walk with Beth that was very fancy indeed! Typical Clifton :P

Dreadful ride! Gears were being an absolute bitch. Stopped almost immediately to try to fix, then spent the next 20mins chasing everyone to catch up. Then had to stop again and catch up again. Then we stopped for ages cos Georgie had puncture, and when we started I was about 100m behind and I just never got on the back... They averaged like 35kph and I was shattered so after 20mins of chasing again I lost them and had a lonely ride home.

Went out to the north of Bristol. Nice route. Some slushy backroads which meant we had to do a bit more on main roads than planned.

Very cold -2C, even though probably the warmest part of day.

I decided to get my lazy ass out of my room. Went to cliff edge, round that section of Downs and then down a little steep footpath down the side of the cliff to the river. Then along docks on opposite side to usual, past cathedral, up park street, past Manor Hall to centre of clifton. Past clifton college, zoo and final triangle of Downs to westbury roundabout to finish. Nice route.
