Rattlesnake canyon, to Tunnel trail, up to La Cumbre peak (and back). Saved the best run for the end of my trip, but was so worn out by the previous runs this week that much of the uphill was very slow.

Brutally difficult run up Cold Spring trail up to Camino Cielo. Very steep, craggy, and technical for a couple miles, with probably 3000 feet of climb.

Exhausting, but very gratifying run on the Jesusita trail, up to Inspiration point and back. Santa Barbara, CA. I used to run these trails often, and this was one of the easier of the front country trails. I'll have to do one of the harder ones later this week. I had forgotten how excellent the trail running is in Santa Barbara: outstanding, well-maintained, technical, rigorous trails with excellent views, and very dry sunny weather -- absolutely ideal conditions that reminded me how averse I am to humidity.
