Training run for the Stone Cat 50. 3 ten mile out and backs. Got lost on first lap and made for a slow split and extra mileage. Fueled up (5 minute bereak- emptied shoes and ate) and ran a 1:25 second split. Took a longer (7 Minute) break after meeting up with Damien for the last leg. Mile 23 I was in quite a bit of knee pain. Mile 25 was a pain lull and I ran the last 5 miles at a 7:40 pace, which is promising. So 12 minutes in down time to be eliminated for race day, hopefully improving my pace. We'll see...
