This was the long race in Buffalo but I can't really say I actually did anything strenuous.

I decided to walk the brown course because of my knee. I made some little mistakes because my mind was wandering... overall it was ok other than that I lost my phone in the woods - I guess that's what I get for taking it with me...

Orienteering race (middle) 35:49 [4]

great race except for the one control (control 13 I think) that I made a 4 or 5 minute series of mistakes.

First I made a parallel error because I wasn't pace counting and then I made a 180 mistake.

The rest of the race I was totally in control and knew where I was going. Was very smooth as well and had a fairly strong finish even though my knee was starting to bother me. Felt wonderful in the woods.

my left knee was really killing me here ... I limped into the finish... enough said

actually my knee did cause me to get distracted and make mistakes on top of walking large sections of the race and slowly 'running' the rest

ran in the woods behind my house for a bit, both on and off trail. I was hoping on going for half an hour or so but my feet didn't hold out. Even with the heel lifts Chuck gave me I got the same pain I've always gotten.

notes about the pain:
both feet. started around 5:00 but not bad right away. GRadually increased until I gave up at 10:00.

a little higher up in my left foot then my right foot. the middle of the curve on my right.

biked home from school - ridiculously slow as I had a whole bunch more work piled on my today and was busy thinking about that and how I now have much more than 16 weeks of work to do in a 16 week work term when I'll only be there for 13 or so weeks...

same reason I didn't go to O-training session this afternoon.
