Advanced course at Saratoga Spa, 1:10,000, 3m contours

Super fun and super weather, ~70, sunny and dry. Only really botched one control (5) not finding the right trail that would have gone straight to it. Lost several minutes bouncing around. Especially liked the butterfly/box in the flat pine wooded area. Many thanks to the EMPO volunteers.

UPDATED with FR track; 6.182 km, 81m climb reported by FR / AP, probably about right.

No tools. Lower right back/hip still tight since weekend activities. Frustrating that all the stretches I do don't seem to relieve the area...

1.9 mi hill interval level 3. iPod battery needs to be charged so no podcasts today; listened to TV instead (switching among about 5 channels including local 24-hour news).

Using exercise balls. I think I'll feel the leg extensions (legs around the ball like tweezers and then you lower legs from upright as far as your back allows) tomorrow. Everything else was good.

Note

Frustrating to read other's logs when they refer to neat stuff on their track--but don't share the map except with "friends"--even for public locales (I do understand keeping your home location available to limited viewers).

Just spent the last 15 minutes doing detective work to satisfy my curiosity.

No energy this time, still sore from the weekend with tight quads. Stretching should help some. This slower recovery is the pits.
