What I found startling was that 1 in 3 ticks carries the Lyme bacteria. Having been bitten many times (probably 3 figures) it was probably only a matter of time. I would think many orienteers have had it without even knowing as severity of symptoms seem to range vastly from person to person.

Went with Amy for an easy jog around Kings Mill Res. Did one lap with Amy at her walk, run routine; I did a few drills during her walks. Felt ok after this, went for a lap on my own, ok for the first half, terrible for the second half. That was my limit.
Another Dr and still no answers. Notes hadn't been transferred from Kingsmill so the Dr knew nothing. Like starting over again. More bloods taken for a variety of things, this time it will include the testing for the proteins to see if my body is combating Lyme but will take up to two weeks to get back. The Dr also didn't think it was Lyme but didn't know what it was but though I would probably get better on my own; it certainly doesn't feel like it.
