Running hills 35:00 [4]

Warm up/down to springvale road bottom then hill pyramid of 2, 1.5, 1, 0.5, 0.25 mins and back up to 1.5mins (wussed out of the last 2mins coz my bruise hurt and i felt lazy)
Was amazed how much fitter i am then the last time i did this at the start of the year, ran up to where i ran for the 2 minute rep in 1.5mins this time and almost at the top after 2 mins!! :-D

Run to, warm up and warm down with circuits in the middle! 45X15 for 36 mins this week. Had random bits of ache from where i crashed at the weekend but didnt feel like id run a mountain marathon at all...or even part of one!

Running race 3:40:00 [5]

OMM day1 - C class
Well, this was fun :-)
It was going very well, even though i was slow due to energy lackingness up hills...we hit no1 straight on and then number 2 was easily spiked too! headed across to honister then up towards dale head before contouring right to get to 3, made a bit of a cock up here as dropped a bit low and it was a mild bit vague...
the weather then really caught us up! strong winds and rain to run into made nav pretty difficult and the wind knocked me off my feet so now i have a pretty bruise down my thigh (and no map left)
Headed up dale head towards 9 but just after the summit towards the next ridge decided to turn back to honister as we couldnt stand up because we were getting blown dangerously close to the edge and couldnt see/breathe because of the force of the wind and rain in the face!
so unsuccessful 3rd OMM, 1 in 3 success rate....bring on next yr :-D

FRA relays - navigation leg
fair amount of climb and helen is deffinately faster than me up them atm! felt a bit slow even for me but downhill was ok :-)
mebbe lost a few mins in silly nav error which is very very silly now i look at it! how on earth i made it i dont no...
anywho best pennine result in a while i believe! waiting on the results...

hill reps! 6X2 minute efforts, made it about 350m up the hill each time with about 60m climb in it.
wasn't planning on training at all today but liz laude made me do it! glad i went out in the end!
legs felt heavy but ok until the last rep where they refused to move more than about 300m so i stopped mid rep.

Still feeling the weekend a lot! took a lot of effort to complete!

Run afterwards was actually my limit of running movement for today!

Girls for gold assessment 2:00:00 [5]

Girls for gold assessment day:
did a combination of things involving bikes (sprints and 3 minute effort) jumping, sprinting and rowing like things. 100% effort all the way!
Hurt immensly afterward and couldn't have given any more to it but not at any world class benchmarks yet!!! just a waiting game now, not holding my breath too much as there were some very springy, speedy people around!

Cycling in Labs, was measuring how breathing and heart rate change with exercise so started off really easy then build up to 'maximal' effort....well judging by my HR in the last one it wasn't entirely maximal but my legs had a lot of lactic acid in from yesterday!

Run down to the track with zanthe, was good and we didnt even get lost!!!

Run back from track, legs felt a little bit dead by now! felt good for having run there and back though

Running 12:30 [4]

Did a warm up lap and the warm up sprints/drills then 3X800m in 3:03, 3:14 and 3:19... think my legs felt the run down by the 3rd one, also hamstrings were very tight!
Still gives me hope i might eventually get some short distance like pace going again one day!

Intervals - hare and hounds,
really tried to run hard and it almost worked! felt pretty good compared to anything else i've done recently woop :-)
time above is just running time, there were 10 reps with 15secs recovery between each!
