Run/tramp with Katie and Tane. We were all feeling a bit unenthusiastic about the running but a lovely day out in the hills all the same!! Up to bobs biv and then to pinchgut hut. Really cool piece of country that I havn't seem before.

In most ways a crappy run. Was feeling super tired in the legs and couldn't really be bothered. Going to have two rest days tomorrow and Friday. My headlight died again after about 20minutes! Lara and I stopped to try and fix it and everyone ran off. Managed to find them again with some good bird calling and strobe lighting.

Gave up on the Monday run at the top of the hill. Instead I went for a cruisy run down the valley and then farm track to Chris and Em's to pick up my abandoned car before it got towed.

Okuku Pass from Whiterock, then up the Tarn Hut track to the start of the climb.

Back out to the road and out through the Ashley Gorge to Oxford in the dark.

Woke up at 430 to catch a flight but jetstar sucks so had some time for some intervals. 5x3 with 90sec rests. Pretty slow and hard work.

It seems there was a large number of us running all over the hill in the snow today...

I was planning a longer run but my legs were a bit tired from yesterdays hills and I have bit of a cough/horrible throat, so ended up doing pretty much the same run as last Sunday afternoon without the bellbird loop.

A good solid weeks training and am starting to feel nice and fit again. Just got to be a bit careful with this cold. See how I feel tomorrow.

Turned out to be a bit longer than expected. Started out feeling rubbish (up the hill was hard work) but felt pretty good by the end (because it was downhill).

Length of run was dictated by length of rant.

Evening run from home up bowenvale and around mt vernon then out to sign of the bellbird, the low loop through the forest and back through vic park. Not really sure how long this took. It felt long but was still running ok by the end.

The hills are very quiet on a Sunday night.
