Old School Barefoot Loop. Just as humid as yesterday with some bona-fide heat and sun thrown in for good measure. Fortunately, the plan was for an easy recovery run, so that's all I did.

Carol's Fat Ass at CC Lake. Six laps of the full loop which was supposed to be 52K, but the consensus among GPS wearers was that it was a bit less than that. Not hot, but crazy humid. Great turnout this year, 31 people ran at least one lap. Three of us did all six. Good times chilling afterwards.

Over 100 miles and two races in the last seven days. Definitely don't want to do that too often in the summer. Will take a recovery week next week.

Easy jog round the hood. Right hip flexor was sending weird twitchy signals for the first few minutes, the sort of thing that can precede a muscle going Bang! and taking you down for 6 weeks. Will have to be cognizant of that tonight.

Alpine Shop Summer Series #1. Good run. Not quite all out, but very firm the whole way. 9th overall, 1st M50 with Steve and Darryl right behind so it looks like the three of us are in for another real battle in the "Sage" division.
