Drove to Eden, stopping at anything interesting. Got down to Ben Boyd National Park mid-afternoon and checked out Boyds Tower, then ran along the coastal path past Mowarry Point but not as far as Saltwater Creek. Turned around after an hour and ran back. Lovely place to run - gently undulating with constantly changing vegetation and terrain. Would like to come back again and do a longer run, maybe Tower to Lighthouse one day! Annoyingly came across a big red-bellied black snake in my way. We had a pretty passive stand-off before he realised I wasn't leaving. It was annoying because it made me jumpy for the rest of the run.

Was quite tough, busting a gut really so in reality more like 1km pace ;)

4 x 15mins tempo (3.20 rec). Out through Barton and Parkes, over Commonwealth Bridge, then around the west basin (and back through Parkes and Barton). Well, nobody said it was going to be easy or fun. At least I can eat fish and chips for dinner!

I do have some sense to avoid 40 degree temperatures! So got a run in before work. Oh, so, slow. The same loop as Tuesday and a good 4.5mins slower. I'm really not designed to run in the mornings :s

Lovely to get out in the warmth! (~28-30 degrees). I had been sat shivering at my desk all morning in the nasty aircon. Was planning to do 5 x 1km at 4mins each. Didn't have my gps watch though so ran 5 x 4mins and hoped I was running 1km! Out past the Boat House on the north shore, then back to Acton Ferry Terminal, then over the foot-bridge back to work.
