OUSA Masters Nationals at MLK, Red X, 9.1km straight line. There were a lot of goals for this run: no mess-ups, no face plants, no twisted ankles, no lollygaggin (moving time of 1:19), and have fun too. And I managed to achieve all those goals. If I tried to go any faster I'm sure mess-ups, face plants, and twisted ankles all would have happened and this would have meant it would not have been fun. Effort wise, I was never really taxing myself. Of course I had hoped to be closer or ahead of Marshcoyote's second cousin, but I obtained most of the performance goals, so I should not complain. Tomorrow I have pretty much the same goals, and who knows, maybe I can go a bit faster and harder in terms of effort.
