This workout was absolute garbage, in fact this was the first time I have ever dropped out of a workout this year. Very disappointing but finishing the workout would not have done me any good. I was struggling right from the beginning and was barely running my 10 mile pace, yet I breathing hard right from the end of the first one and my legs were burning.

Running (shake out) 37:35 [3] 8.35 km (4:30 / km)
shoes: Addidas Glide Boost

Went for an easy shake out at camp. Pace was decent and I explored some new trials and roads. Found a SWEEEEETTT!!! minnow pond that I didnt know was there. Only problem is it would a LONG walk in.

Jumped in the lake for 12 minutes to ice after rolling and rope stretching. According to the temperature senser on my boat, the water was 53 close to shore and about 44 3 feet down... Yikes!

Above average run considering yesterday. I can still feel the sickness in me. My legs just dont want to turn over and its a struggle to run easy confortably.

Didn't do anything yesterday, and I certainly am not feeling any better today. Going to attempt the workout later today.

Running (Steady Surge) 1:00:00 [3] 13.33 km (4:30 / km)
shoes: Addidas Adios Boost

Preactive + roll
20up + 4x 4:15/ :45surge + 20cd
lvl 1 plyo
push and sit

This was started okay okay and Mason, Chris and I rocked a solid first set. I really had to work it on the second set and then got dropped on the surge and didnt recovery. Overall below average, but the effort was high. I'm not really all that soar from the 10 miler anymore, but I am still feeling pretty sick and as a result the workout suffered a bit.

Body waited for the right time to get sick... Oiy! Yesterday's run felt good and I didnt feel sick at all. About 6:00ish I got extremely tired and was dizzy. Feel asleep on the couch and woke up with a crazt headache and sore throat. Didnt sleep much and now I am hacking up something fierce non stop. Meh... happy im am sick now instead of before 10 miler :)

Nice easy hour today. The pace was actually fairly decent and pretty quick. I guess the legs are still in 5 minute mile mode... lol... A little sore in the achilles and calves, otherwise fine.

Running race 51:26 [5] 10.0 mi (5:09 / mi)
weight:141.2lbs shoes: New Balance RC5000

Certainly an awesome race and if you would have told me that I was going to run this time before the race I'm not sure I would of agreed with you.

Anyways... the race was practically flawless for me. I went out in 5:01 with Whipped and Dom which felt really good. We relaxed a little bit running back to back 5:21's after that. I think this was the only real mistake in the race because that is where Gilbert put distance on us. I think if I rolled it back about 5 seconds per mile things might have went differently. (I don't think that extra effort would have hurt us... but maybe the fact we slowed down a bit helped us later). As for the later parts of the race, I got a huge burst of energy at like mile 6ish and just took off and was closing pretty good. Then about after 4 minutes of sub 5:00 pace the adrenline ran dry and it got tough. Remembering how all the other races have went throughout the year, I just kept pushing despite slowing signifantly from about mile 7.5 to 8.5. Once I hit mile 9 I just hammered and I think I was pretty much all out for the last 800m and absolutely for the last 400m.

Overall, I am super pumped!
