I screamed for the second time in a week when one of the coaches claimed the lane approaching Keystone on 65th and a huge a** red F450 truck laid on the horn behind him and then cut him off turning right at the corner.

May makes Indianapolis drivers crazy - they seem to think they on the track. I'll be happy when the race is over next weekend.

ICO Yellowwood Meet attempt at the Red course. After overnight rain, the trails and hillsides were slick and the hills seemed even steeper than I remembered - I should have started on the Green. Big mistake on C2 where I descended further west than intended and mistook the big stream for the smaller stream leading to C2 and ended up near to C9. I should have used my compass to avoid the parallel error. Recovered by walking S to the foot of the ridge and the easterly stream system to C2. I was an hour out at C3 so decided to cut off the north controls and skipped over to C9. The southern controls had less brutal climbs but I ended up only getting 9 through 16 and finishing without C17 and C18 at 3 hours.

I didn't get to the Y to ride down to Fall Creek with the group because we watched a woman get hit by a car at the corner of West and New York. The driver stopped to ask if she was all right but then took off. We waited for the police but they didn't seem like they would put much effort into finding the driver. Fortunately the women was OK but she is going to be sore tomorrow.

Run on Butler campus with mintore while Aragorn had his horn lesson. The campus would be a great campus sprint map with buildings with courtyards, stone walls, lots of gardens, a canel with bridges, sports fields, and trails through the honeysuckle errr.. woods. When campus facilities has been asked in the past about holding a meet there, they wanted over $2000. We asked Aidan's horn teacher if she knew how to get permission to map and use the campus for a local meet. She is interested in orienteering and will look into who the best person to contact would be.
