running long 1:00:46 [3]
ahr:173 max:192

i do way too much dragging myself out of bed. on a saturday too. geez!!! fabulous run though!!! only part that was not so splendid was when i got to the parkway and a gagillion motocycles were parading down the road blocking everything and everyone off. they were sooooo loud and it kind of ruined the serene-ness of running along the river... sigh. the run was actually 56min, but i wanted to get to an hour so i ran around a couple blocks as a cooldown to get it up to an hour. :P

running race 5:42 [5] 1.5 km (3:48 / km)
ahr:187 max:197

eossa steeplechase!!!!! the girls started out soooooooooooooooo soooooooo fast and so i think my first lap was crazy!!!!! then things settled down but everyone was still pretty spread out. my hurdles though, were absolutely spectacular!!!!! no little butterfly steps for mee!!!! :) i just bounded right up to them and then lept over like a gonzilla or whatever those antelope thingymadooers are. that sounds too much like godzilla and gorgonzola but oh well. it was sweet anyways. finished up 8th which meant that i got a ribbon!!! that was brown... yuck. :P teehee great fun cept now the track season is over. oh shucks!!! :(

running intervals 57:09 [3]
ahr:161 max:192

i believe that this would be the first time that i've actually lead the intervals. of course, it was after the weekend where marathon runner ran a marathon and mr. longlegs ran the half. he he.... oh well!!! did 11 x 2min around McKellar Park and then gave ourselves 1.5min to do 10 situps and 10 pushups before heading out for the next interval. it was so comfy lying down on the ground after booting it around the field, but the situps kind of ruined that. :P felt pretty good the whole time and since i lead all of the intervals, having mr. longlegs behind me really pushed me along and so the pace was pretty constant.

running hills 44:34 [3]

so first there was a battle between me and my bed. i won. then there was a battle between me and the hill. i think we tied. but then there was a battle between me and my mind. and for sure i won that one. totally didn't want to get out of bed this morning so incredibly early to run hills, but i did!!!! then i felt crummy and slow running the hills but that was alright. and then i made myself do an extra set so i ended up doing 10 hill reps. so hah!!! take that carlington hill!!!!! :P
this is the damage.
9:01 warmup
2:14/2:16
2:19/2:11
2:12/2:14
2:19/2:18
2:19/2:18
still only giving myself 1min rest between sets. slow this morning, but it was super dee duper windy and i felt like i was being blown back up the hill when i was trying to get down. holy macaroni!!

cycling 20:00 [1]

i thought i would save the world by biking to the library instead of driving. what a brilliant idea. i ended up hitting a car, nearly got car-doored by a soccermom, and then nearly smashed my face into the road when the chain randomly popped off. quite the adventure!!!

orienteering 44:46 [3]

meet in almonte. felt soooo sluggish but still the orienteering was fantabulous!!! nailed most of the controls and was really in contact with the map. a bit hesitant on a few of the controls but other than that it wasn't too bad.
