So much easier to swim without a wetsuit on. Seemed to get a lot of lengths in when Mr. Chatterbox isn't there. Lol

Trail run 1:00:00 [2]
Wonderful trail run off of White's road. Three sets of stairs in that gawd awful eyesore of a staircase. River crossing was nice also jumping from boulder to boulder.

I have never felt like giving up like I did in the 1k open swim. First time swimming in a wetsuit and everytime I went to put my face in the water I just couldn't breathe. About 300m in I was going to just give up and walk back to shore but I could see Grace who was a head of me having the same problem as was Julia who was behind me with Paul. I knew if they saw me giving in they may have also. So I just kept going and finally finished it. Grace and Julia placed first and second in their age category so I was one pretty proud mom!
