Note

Golf at Te Marua. 103 (34 points) , playing off the competition tees in fairly strong wind. A game of 2 halves 58/45 with the second half probably as good as I've played in a long while.

Running 1:39:13 [3] 16.84 km (5:54 / km) +694m 4:53 / km
ahr:133 max:151 shoes: Nike Air Pegasus 30 Blue

Started at the California Garden Centre - up Summit Rd - Ridge - Avian

Probably feeling a bit better than the past couple of days, though still found the ridge hard work after the climb. Felt warm for the first time this spring.

Running 1:01:27 [3] 11.19 km (5:29 / km) +323m 4:48 / km
ahr:133 max:152 shoes: Nike Pegasus 31

Avro - the loop part way down Guildford Spur (up the ridge) - Avian

Feeling lacklustre again, and legs never felt quite right - just general stiffness preventing fluid movement.

Cycling 1:02:17 [3] 25.31 km (2:28 / km)

The Whitemans Valley loop CW.

Felt lacking in power right from the start. Improved a bit, but never felt good. Also quite a bit of wind - very hard work going up the valley, although the last 5 minutes were good.

Running 1:04:04 [3] 12.48 km (5:08 / km) +296m 4:35 / km
shoes: Nike Air Pegasus 30 Blue

Avro - above Stokes Valley - Johnsons Rd

Set off at decent tempo as it was a bit colder than I was expecting, and managed to keep it up most of the way. Groin seems to be almost recovered.

Monday Sep 19, 2016 #

Running 24:03 [3] 4.19 km (5:44 / km)
shoes: Nike Air Pegasus 30 Blue

The usual short post-flight Avian-Avro loop.

Quite a struggle, so took it fairly gently. Groin OK going up the hill, but a bit sore when stretching out a bit more coming back down.
