With CCX on hiatus this year Mickey, Chuck, Luke, and I did a modified route, basically last year's route without the singletrack. Still a lot of climbing but much easier, especially since the trails would be overgrown and muddy. Still, it wasn't the same without them. Did hit Hams Prairie and the nuclear plant.

Felt pretty crappy the first 20 miles then perked up. Not sure what the issue is. Maybe I just need to recalibrate my idea of what riding my bike feels like.

Got up early to go to the gym, remembered every post-weights bike ride this year has been a train wreck. Went back to bed. Couldn't sleep. Thought about walking, but it's chilly and my bruise has migrated to the back of my knee, making pants hurt. Opted for some yoga, which between work stress and my general stiffness should have been the first choice anyway.
