Biking (Weldon Spring gravel) 3:47:51 [4] 46.4 mi (12.2 mph) +2234ft
shoes: Airborne Delta CX

Litany of excuses:

I didn't sleep well last night.
My legs are still trashed from overdoing it with weights on Wed.
It's hot.
Mickey made me ride extra hills ("I know you want to get better on hills this year", while true, is going to get very old.)
My tires were slightly underinflated.
I've only been on a bike once since DK.
Maybe I'm still recovering from DK.
Chinese food may not be the ideal pre-ride dinner.
Today was just an off day.

Whatever the reason, today was the shittiest I've felt on a bike since Death by Gravel. It's a shame, too, because the sun is actually out for the first time in a week, and the gravel was in good shape.

Highlights: riding down flooded LV roads and successfully riding the climb out of LV for the first time in a while.

Humid and sloooooow. But I ran the whole hour, so there's that.

Biking (Zero motivation road ride) 45:00 [3] 11.4 mi (15.2 mph)
shoes: Giant TCR

Still haven't cleaned my cross bike from DK, so took out the road bike and was reminded once again that the fit is off and the saddle is a torture device. By the time I was finished warming up my left knee was aching and I'd convinced myself that cutting things short was the smart move. Did some halfhearted intervals.
