Note

Acquired a knee scooter!!! Can't really get it up/down the stairs and it's too fancy (and not-mine) for me to feel comfortable locking it to the bike rack, but it'll help a lot inside my apartment! And also is just fun to drive around :)

Last data collection day before I get to spend 2+ weeks at home and not running all over campus!!! For each of the 3 sessions I'd had a different person/people with different scheduling constraints and different experience levels helping with the magnet-room stuff, and so it was hard to get into a routine. Scheduled my ride to get me there 20 min early so I could make sure things were set up if my co-experimenter wasn't there as early as me/if things went wrong, then ride was 20 min late bc the dispatcher "didn't realize" they had any rides scheduled... so the 20 min early was worth it! And luckily my co-experimenter had most of the magnet room stuff set up by the time I got there and was one of the more experienced people in lab, which I hadn't realized. And someone had stashed the MR-safe walker in a random closet I had no idea existed, but the head tech person was still there and knew all the random closets to check, so I could at least go into the magnet room to help with focusing the projector which is ideally a 2-person job. And things went super smoothly after that. Yay for data analysis!!!!

Laundry day! The stairs are so rough w the boot, and I'm super looking forward to staying inside with clean laundry and lots of data to analyze for the next 2 weeks! Stayed inside the rest of the day!

Swimming again! Almost no arm pain except for a tiny tweak in my elbow during a flip turn woops. But other than that, good, and went shorter and slower today just in case!

4 x 50 (slower than recently)

10 x 100 on 2:20--was finishing between 2:00 and 2:10 and then a bit of rest. Didn't shorten the rest bc the timing was helping me not lose count :P Since a set of three made me start on the minute again. Started slow.

Hands/wrists are feeling better than on previous days! ALSO they reopened the shorter path to my pickup spot and it's still hard after swimming but now much less hard than before :)

A few sets of dog pees/donkey kicks/one round of leg raises after swimming. So much more pleasant to be out in the fresh air!
