I checked the forecast (clear) and ran out the door, and rain almost immediately started pouring down. An hour later, sunny skies, but there was still a spattering of rain late in the run. The rest of the afternoon, and the next 10 days, is supposed to be rain rain rain. I think so far there were 3 days in June without rain.

The Imp Trail from Route 16. I had to be in Gorham this morning so took advantage of the day, which was sunny and clear, and the view from the top of the Imp Face was outstanding. On the way down I talked to a couple of guys who appeared to have just stopped for a rest, but a little later on I encountered a large search-and-rescue team going up to bring down an injured hiker. It hit my news feed a 2 days later, and it must have been one of those two guys (the older one, who was lying down as if resting). It's strange they hadn't said anything.
