NY sorted. Got a lottery entry for 2012, which was cancelled and so had a choice of 2013 or 2014. Chose the latter as was very busy last year. Now just have to train! The other goals are more fun, except for French Champs of course :-).

yeah, just too hard on the knees and hips. I will be doing well to get to the start line in NY without mishap, and so I think it is time to be sensible. When are venturing on to the marathon course again?

not sure. house renos just finished so starting to get some mojo back. am planning to line up for Mt Kooyoora Ultra Long NOL at end of August which will probably take me 3 hours (elite winning time 1hr45) so maybe after that. Got a mate trying to convince me to do Melbourne Marathon again in October but I'm not sold yet.

Takes a big commitment to line up for a marathon! But the Mt Kooyoora Ultra Long-O sounds great. Fantastic area for it … at least it was back in the 1980s :-). I hope that it has survived the time in between without thickening up too much ...

its pretty the same. certainly more green on the map in general and some areas worse than others but still great.
