Rode my new 29er over the w/e for a long time and with a new seat 'n' all need i say anymore. My ass was sore. I know it comes with the territory (have been long enough to know that), and appreciate the lubes etc that take care of the junk etc.

But want to hear any recommendations that people might have re bike seat for AR, especially with GodZone coming up for me.
Thanks in advance.

Go to a Specialized dealer and have them measure the distance between your sit bones. They do it every day. Then choose between a 143mm or narrower saddle….or bring a tape measure and get a different brand with the same width.

For a hardtail or dually? I am using a WTB Laser saddle on my Anthem but that is after a lot of trial and error. I did go through the specalized fit system about 4 years agon and found a great saddle, but they no longer make it.

For hardtails I am considering one of these: http://www.bikeradar.com/au/gear/category/componen... But I have far too much respect for my nether regions to use a hardtail for Godzone.
