Discussion: Catching Up

I've been away from AP for much of the past few weeks and am just catching up. I see you have Cristoph and Molly visiting. How wonderful to celebrate Christmas altogether.

You also mentioned Lake Maggiore flooding. Geez! I'll have to look into that. One of the benefits of travel is that you get invested in the places you've visited and care about what happens to them.

I'll try and get caught up on what you've been doing. In the meantime, Thanks for your Christmas card. The winter scenes are so romantic. Before last summer, I always imagined you going up into the mountains (from Interlochen), heading north to whatever your destination was. After visiting, I realize that most anywhere you'd be going into the mountains, you'd be going south! My mental map is all messed up. I will have to try and reconcile your Christmas card photos with my memories of the beautiful mountains we drove through.

I still have not completed our "card", but eventually, we'll get it completed and sent. I hope that it will just prolong the holiday season for you. Enjoy yourselves.
