At least they wouldn't have got their clothes wet if they had crossed at Kambah Pool! Although at 4:30am there wouldn't have been too many sun lovers present. If you can believe the comments on the web it is middleaged males who frequent that beach now. I can understand why the boys wasted no time to cross the river and get out of there.
