Scene of a gangland murder.... almost like the bush around here. The famous deceased spouse of Heather Osland was buried on the Devonshire Reef map by the wife and son. Not sure where. Another body was buried on Browns Reef map. That spot is marked by a cross and a regualrly replaced set or flowers. Its a most forlorn story of a young woman killed by a drunken partner. Evan runs past the site on his normal run. I only do it ocassionally as its just a bit too sad. Ilka, Moira and friends camped nearby one evening in their mid teens, and I had fun tellingthem the story before leaving them there. I think they may have convinced themselves they heard ghosts, or is that just my imagination...

yes the ghostly wails of many a forlorn chicken roam them thar hills.
