It looks like the short nights (avg 5hrs) are catching up with you. I've noticed episodes like that too, and usually can tie it back to either lack or sleep or stress, or a combination of the two.

yeah, it is the damnedest thing. I can run a couple of long hard races and then this happens 2k into a short race. Have been meaning to get to teh cardiologist to have astress test on a treadmill to see if there is anythong fundamentally amiss. My private theory accords with yours - lack of sleep, stress, and probably low bolld sugar.

I did the stress test earlier this year. I got the all clear, and haven't really had any problems since, other than finding the time to actually train this fall...

We are really poorly located for snow...we didn't even get the ground covered here in Bain-de-Bretagne, I guess the bath water is too warm ;-)
