I was disappointed to see your log entry red. Those calf injuries are hard to work out. I went through that a good part of last year.
I still have problems occasionally, which is one reason my mileage has taken a real dive.

There is an exercise the physiotherapist gave me that will help once the pain subsides. Stand on a stair with rhe balls of your feet on the edge. Raise up on your tiptoes then slowly let yourself down until you're as far down as you can go. You don't raise yourself with your calves. I usually raIse up on one foot then raise the other one. Its supposed to work the eccentric muscle so raising isn't the goal. After a few weeks you can just use one foot at a time.
Good luck!
