I see you're running Seaton next month. Have you done this race before? What's the deal with the stairs? I looked at some pics and saw lots of people running down stairs. Can we run/hike up the hills instead? Were you fine with one bottle, or did you find the aid stations too spread out for that? Anything else I should know about?

Hey J, I ran the 26 K at Seaton last year and really enjoyed it. It was a 13 K out and back with the 78 k starting @ 7:30 and the 52 and 26 at 8:30. The course was suprisingly technical and hilly with a water crossing. The stairs are steep but you can go on the side of it where there are no stairs. There are 3 aid stations (including the start/finish area) that are nicely spaced and you hit them going out and coming back, and they are well stocked. I used a handheld last year but honestly I hate having something in my hand so I'll be using my Nathan race vest this year. I like it because the tube is right up by my mellon and I have a habit of not drinking unless its right there. I used it at Hali and it worked out great. Derrick sent me an email that indicated there is going to be a few changes to the course that may make it less technical. Again I really liked it and its hard to believe you are in Pickering when you are out there. Hope that made sense. Email me at airman155@bell.blackberry.net if you have any other questions.

Cheers
