Mangoes were down to $1 a kilo in the Rapid Ck markets on Sunday.
NO WAY!!! GET OUT!!!
Rather - I'll add this to my list of reasons to visit/move to Darwin. :)
I haven't yet convinced George that cheap blueberries are an adequate incentive for a trip to Tasmania.
You mean there are people in Darwin who actually buy mangoes rather than just eat the ones growing in their yards?
I've still never seen a mango growing on a tree :(
The ones that are growing in their yards tend to get targetted heavily by bats and possums. And they've often let the trees grow so tall that unless you have a very long ladder and a swimming pool leaf scoop, you're not going to be able to reach them anyway.
