Hey Aaron,
Hope your hip is coming around. Just wondering if it was from some of the extra driving as you said you were away. I always find mine acts up if I'm stuck at 90degree angle for long. Have also found that doing single leg squats very helpful to strengthen the glutes if this is the case.
Is it the same side as your knee problem before? Could be linked to that and a tight ITband. Stretching, rolling will also help in addition to the single leg squats.

I think it has something to do with that D. 5 hour drive to get here then 8 hours in a class each day and some road running,= disaster. I am holding off running today until I get home so I can do an easy one on the trails. I have been keeping up with the sqauts, 70 a day. Hopefully it is just another blip
