well, I'll put my sympathy speech in the wastecan. really shouldn't be surprised after reading your log all these years.

No need for a sympathy speech even if things weren't working out. I'm way past normal life expectancy for an endurance athlete. Every day is a gift. When the gifts stop coming, I still will have received far more than most.
