Nolde Green, Pretty physical course.

there were some areas that were pretty tough for me to get through - from 2 to 3 for example.

nothing was that hard for me navigationally except for number 5, the charcoal platform in the middle of hell. i hadn't gone far enough and convinced myself i was by the pile of rocks on the map...turns out there are other unmapped piles of rocks. just as i was bailing out to relocate to the trail, i heard some crashing near the control ... lucky, spotted it. still, spent 12 minutes on a fairly short one!

all in all a good day in the woods, some hard areas but a great workout. saw lots of wonderful DVOA peeps (clem was there so early, was it really him or a ghost??)

but...i have to ask, do we need to remap nolde? the vegetation seems not reflective of what's on the map...

After days of heavy laboring I am sad to say I have reinjured my back. 1:30 am wake up to pain and when I move, worse. Dammit!!!

It was smart to do that walk in the middle of the night. My back is delicate today, but not completely non-functioning as it was. At work cranking it out. Hopefully a walk later today. and going to bed early tonight!

Got through the day ok - did mostly inside flowers today which I prefer and so does my back. This exercise started as a walk, and turned in a jog/run type thing. Needed to do this not only to alleviate stress but stretch out the back. Glad I did.
