gym class (Fat Burner) 50:00 [4]

Felt spritely fight from the start and pushed too, opting for all high level options bar one. At end took off for run on track, except I decided to do it clockwise rather than the usual way. Felt great and was a better option than doing more squats. Very pleased with this session.

Feeling on a high this ended up being a bit flat - disappointing end but on the positive the rest of the session was great.
Weekend of travel - so no more chances until Monday arvo.

Getting close to upping weights time as warm up weight feels positively light. I did take the plunge for biceps and felt good, so maybe more next week.

Great class - lots of interval work, even with weights. Wimped out on the long run to protect foot so took to eliptical instead. Also did 1.5x squat jumps rather than burpees, again to protect foot. On the very positive side the sit ups are "perfect" now - should be I've practiced enough.

Note

Disappointed that on stairs to breakfast I felt dull ache in foot - so yesterday's run was a reminder that all is not quite healed. Did some icing and stretching before class and hoping for more tonight.

Great event concocted by leepback. Paired up with Caroline while rockman paired with Shane and as Caroline said - we pairs are about the same ability so good match. I was starting to get apprehensive but Caroline was great and I really enjoyed the event. Liked the loop format and I think most of the pairs split pretty much the same except for Orrs - free thinkers that they are. It was a great learning experience for me to have to run with someone else. I was disappointed that I didn't have the strategy ready for the last section when Caroline returned (in quite a rapid time too with hills included) and we dithered there opting finally for the track route which was safer. She did really well to take more of the uphill load. Last leg uphill was a killer! Thanks for that leepback. But the whole event was fantastic - a good roll up, with an informal presentation, BBQ, chit chat and home by 1. That's what it's all about. I hope more of our Minor events take on a different format. But thanks leepback again - it was great.
Seems like my first run since Easter is OK for toe, but icing just in case.Think my contribution was saving Caroline from 1.3km of the roughly 5 km course. Sorry to say that while I knew the map was 1:7 500 it didn't feel like it, especially on 24-25, and it felt like contour interval was 10m in the Finish.
