Running 47:05 [3] 5.4 mi (8:43 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Running 10

Running with Presto at Tilden! I wasn't feeling especially sprightly this morning, but SGB was planning to meet someone up at Inspiration Point, so Presto and I went and did our own thing. It was perfect running weather and everything is green and beautiful right now :-). We saw a bunch of pheasants and there was a herd of cows that was as interested in Presto as Presto was in them, which was amusing. Good to get out!

Strength 5:00 [3]

Normal abs while waiting for SGB to get back.

Stretching 7:00 [3]

Normal stretching plus before and after nerve glides.

Flute 30 [3]

Playing duets with Jennifer!

Running 48:59 [3] 5.5 mi (8:54 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Running 10

Running with Sam, Christy, and Presto before lab!!! Woohoo! So much fun :-). I gave my presentation to the funding people yesterday, so my stress level has dropped about a million percent and running was a great way to celebrate. I think Presto could tell that things were happier as well. We stopped at one park for Sam to tie his shoes and Presto started doing awesome spins in the grass :-). Great way to start the day!

Stretching 4:00 [3]

Morning nerve glides before running and abbreviated stretching in the break room after running.

Stretching 1:00 [3]

Morning nerve glides.

Running 29:06 [3] 3.0 mi (9:42 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Running 10

Running with Presto after lab! After my 1.5 hours of sleep last night I couldn't fathom doing SGB's orienteering hill workout of doom (although I'm sure it would have been delightful under other circumstances :-) ), so I just took Presto out for an extremely slow plod around my "normal" 3 mile loop (which I guess I haven't done in months...). It was really good to get out and judging by how I felt after 3 miles, it was the correct choice!

Strength 5:00 [3]

"Normal" abs. I guess I haven't done these in a while either...silly lab/rehearsal schedule :-).

Stretching 6:00 [3]

Normal stretching (phew! Normal actually means something here!) plus evening nerve glides.

Red Course at Indian Valley with Presto! Looking at the course stats, I thought this would be a great recovery run, but it turns out that in order to only do 175m of climb you'd have to be some sort of magical contouring hovercraft (and increase the distance by ~80%), so I think I did more like 300m-350m of climb. I was also not having a brilliant day of navigation. Luckily Presto was having a fantastic time out there and any day running around in the forest is a good one, so it was all worth it :-). Fun, fun!

Stretching 7:00 [3]

Morning and after run nerve glides and normal stretching.
