I felt tired today. I think that's a good thing, because it means I ran hard in the qualification races. I ran the long/middle/relay model event easy, but first I jogged a bit on a trail to warm-up, thinking I might do a bit of hard running.

I ran the model event easy, feeling better after I'd been going a while. I still kept the pace mellow to let my legs and heart rest and recover. I had a miss on one control, where I overshot a bit and looped back to find it, as well as a couple other little bobbles or hesitations. It's tricky terrain--harder than the long qual terrain--and hard to run through with confidence at full speed.
