Short jog with Kat. It was hotter than I thought outside, and I felt rubbish. I was going to extend it longer but my throat was all dry and I wasn't having fun, so I didn't.

A lovely walk to the highest top in CT with Rob. He set quite a pace and it was actually relatively hard work. I carried all the water for the workout, and came to the realisation I was carrying the extra weight I've lost since Christmas. Moving was harder then. Beautiful day, hot but not humid, with excellent sandwiches and ice cream from Salisbury.

On the principle that something is better than nothing, a little joggeroo home from work with period pains from hell. Saw Rob at work so did a little loop then walked home with him. Either the temperature is better or I am adapting.

Easy run round Lake Wintergreen with Boris and Rob after walking the Tiger dogs. They are cute but rather silly balls of fluff. One of them did a poo full of string, which looked difficult. At the end of the run Boris and I did two tempo efforts along the straight flat track - my second felt much better than my first. Almost quick in fact. Fun, especially as it was another mid afternoon wanting to bail kind of day

Edit: looking at the track, number two was actually the quickest I've run in a long time. Yey!

Really nice run at Maltby with Boris. Lovely and cool, plenty of deer out and about. This is not actually all running, as we rescued two lost children and walked them back towards the road near the end. They were the first people we've ever seen out at Maltby, so it was pretty lucky we found them! We then grilled burgers, made salsa, and I got scared of komodo dragons. Great evening.
