Swimming 14:40 [3] 0.5 km (29:20 / km)

TRI Holly 2015. Supposedly a 500m swim, but my pace was pretty slow compared to what I can do in the pool, so it might have been a little longer. Passed Syd in the first third from startin 5 seconds behind her (she kept kicking me, so I said screw it, lets get by), and then burned out in the last third and she ended up ahead 15 sec in the end. Felt mostly good, just a little slow at the end.

Road Biking 43:33 [3] 12.0 mi (16.5 mph)

TRI Holly 2015. This bike was brutal. Undulating hills the whole way. Couldnt pick up too much speed on most of the downhills because of tight turns. One uphill in particular was long and steep, many people had to get off and walk. I was able to make it up in 1-1. 12 miles in a 3 mile out and back we had to do twice. Syd and I played leap frog a few times, but ended up 40 seconds ahead by the end. Ate a raspberry hammer gel at mile 9. May have upset my stomch (see run).

Road Running 31:12 [3] 3.1 mi (10:04 / mi)

TRI Holley 2015. I am not proud of this run, my slowest 5k in a long time. Started off up a hill that I crawled up. The rest was some gentle hills that were fine. My stomach felt really upset, and around mile 1 i had to walk a bit for fear of puking. I had the energy to go faster, but I couldnt stomach it. Took water and drank a ful cup at both aid stations, and felt better for the last mile. Possibly a combination of dehydration (didnt drink enough on the bike, the hills didnt really allow for it), and the raspberry hammer. Syd destroyed me on the run (almost 6 minutes) and got the win this time.

Ended 27/70 male. Not too bad, but I think I could have pulled off top 20, top 15 if I did awesome.. Like I said, the run killed me. Good body management lesson.

Paddling 1:30:00 [3] 5.0 mi (18:00 / mi)

Kayaking. Started at Argo and went up stream to Barton park dam, did the portage up to the lake and then did the length of the lake. Upstream was a 18-20 minute mile pace. Back down the same way at about a 16:30 pace. Hot, glad we went out early.

Rock Climbing 1:30:00 [3]

been a week and a half. Tried a ladder
5.9
5.10- Tricky, took 1 take
5.10 (tall wall) no problems
5.11- (tall wall) fell in 2 spots, struggled a lot in one of them. Eventually got it
5.10 Failed. This particular route baffles me. I blame the sweat
5.10- Got up in 1 try, but my fingers were beat!

Road Running 22:30 [3] 3.0 mi (7:30 / mi)

The wedding venue we thought we had booked 6 months ago was double booked and we got bumped. That led to an evening of scrambling to ID other options. Short on time and high on stress led to a fast run. Went out way too fast and just faded the whole time. Miles were 7:04, 7:25, 7:59. Felt pretty terrible but it was nice to get back to speed, havent done any this summer. Maybe i should try to go a little more incrementally though.
