swimming 45:00 [2] 1.5 mi (30:00 / mi)

Swam with some drills. The locker room was so grouse(sp.) that after complaining a couple of times just decided to clean it myself so picked up the deck scrub brush and bleach. The lifeguard never wondered why I took the hose into the locker room to wash all the bleach off. It had not been cleaned since January so lots of growth.

swimming 50:00 [2] 1.5 mi (33:20 / mi)

Finished most of the workout that I could not do on Thursday. Lots of long intervals and fairly long rests- that time is added in eventhough I was just hanging on the wall.

swimming 10:00 [2] 0.25 mi (40:02 / mi)

Only warmed up for 100 yards and started the workout. The storm came in real fast so we had to get out of the pool. Waited for a while for the storm to pass just it looked like it was going to be a while. Managed to swim 3 X 100 50 drill/ 50 swim in 1:30.

Yard work 40:00 [1]

Mowed the lawn.

Tuesday May 30, 2006 #

swimming 55:00 [2] 1.5 mi (36:40 / mi)

Did some intervals including 4 X 200 in 4:00. Swam the distance in 3:00 so ended up taking long rests. Did some other intervals also. Only did about 1/2 of the workout, but this was enough. The time includes my rest in between the intervals. Too many people in the pool to swim that much of it breastroke so had to stay with freestyle. Arrived home thinking of mowing the lawn and thought I could put it off for one more day.

Yard work 1:00:00 [1] 1.0 mi (1:00:01 / mi)

Cleaned up the yard. Yeah, the grass is growing!

Sunday May 28, 2006 #

swimming 30:00 [1] 0.6 mi (49:59 / mi)

Swam real easy to stretch out my legs. You know you are tired when the breaststroke is faster then freestyle. Probably will take a couple of weeks off from all of the running. Maybe raced a tad bit too much?
