Jim Benton designed a 6.8 km red at East Fork north. This was fun but very physical - slogging through the linear swamps also known as horse trails; splashing across the flat sodden upland forests, and then assaulting the steep slippery ravines along the lake shore; all the while being shredded by East Fork's delightful array of multiflora rose, brambles, and assorted other thorny vegetation. I blew about 10 minutes searching for a bingo-ish control on an alleged small clearing (now very overgrown with cedar scrub - I passed it twice on careful bearings from the most reasonable attackpoints), but otherwise, it was a very nicely planned course.
