Followed Mr. Wonderful around as he set the SMOC Ski-O course. Biffed it a few times had a few hills where I made it! Beautiful day. Started off at 6 degrees. Broke trail in a couple of places. I keep telling myself "I am determined this will come together before I fall apart." :) Had my pack. See Mr. W's log for the photo gallery.

Wanted to shake my legs out a bit so wanted to head for a run, and thought about the recommendation of running until you don't know where you are and get found. I don't think that meant into a reentrant with 2 feet of snow. Well, got some HR, traversed trails and bailed out onto a road for a short "run." I love winter, and also, I think this spring will be a little sweeter. Had my pack. Love my pack.

First bit a lesson with AliC and Tom. Learned about poling, double poling, form forward and how to use ankles. Then a cruise around with Tom. Figured out this is my 4th time out this year, and 6th ever. Definitely didn't biff it as much, progress! Gotta get ready for ski-o next Sunday!
