tried to run two days in a row... still not ready to d that, I wonder if I ever will be. I started on pavement and felt terrible. Then I got on the trails and felt worse. I just wasn't firing today and using my glutes to get my foot-strike underneath me going downhill is just starting to come to me on easy gradients on predictable pavement. The trails are just a bit more then I am ready for and when I am not firing it is all that much worse. I stopped a few times and debated if this was a more destructive then constructive, but I did keep going and had a few good portions where I focused and did have a stride. Those moments were forced though, and I was beat up and my knee was present and agitated. Not awful, but agitated. I was really really slow and that is what it felt like.
