Stairmaster without boot. Toe did ok. My right big toe actually might be feeling it more (I dropped a carseat on it a week ago and did some damage). Some soreness at the base of the toe. Was definitely on my toe more in sneakers than in the boot. 2750' Disconnected for first half. Struggled the second half.
Went for a follow-up. Bone is 90% healed but he still wanted me to stay in the boot for another 2 weeks. Then I can switch to sneakers for 1-2 weeks and then another follow-up. Still no riding/running until my follow-up :'-)
After I left I wondered why I even went in. I was healing much better than expected but he still sent me home in the boot. If the XRay didn't change anything given extreme circumstances why bother.
Tested out the rowing machine. At first tried to simulate a erg machine even steeling a Lat pull down bar. That didn't work so I just rowed for 10 min. Not really sure I was much benefit from this as compared to the stairclimber or a bike.
Got on the bike trainer at the gym while wearing my boot. Dr. said not to go bike riding but figured I had my boot on so maybe it was ok. Was pretty much soft-pedaling anyway. I don't see how some light bike training on a trainer would do any damage.
Stairmaster Wearing my boot on the left foot. Started easy and kept increasing the difficulty to make sure I didn't do anything I shouldn't. Machine reset on me after 24 min. I think I did about 3000 steps which is about 2000'.
HRM on watch isn't working at all. Used the one on the machine.
