Great first attempt! You didn't pick an easy one. :) Thanks so much for your team's help at HQ. That was so kind and very much appreciated. We're always short of drivers during the "witching hours" of the race. It's wonderful that you took hot chocolate to the team you picked up. I'll bet you were their heroes!
Bash - so glad we could help out. I've always appreciated how much work and dedication that goes into these races by the organizers and volunteers so that we racers can have a fun and safe race. Just wanted to give back if we could :)
Looking forward to trying WT again next year! If not as a racer, then as a volunteer :)
Racing is definitely the plan for sure. I have unfinished business at WT!
This year Bob has added a "sprint" adventure race to his Logs Rocks and Steel event on Sept. 20 in Haliburton, ON. If you and some of your teammates are available, this would be a great chance to practise topo map navigation and AR skills in a shorter race - 60 km and about 8 hours.

Thanks! I'll talk with OM and others to see if this is something they would like to do. I'm totally game :)
I'm totally up for Logs Rocks and Steel.
Awesome! Was great seeing you and Jen there too. We only love across the state from each other but it seems to far away sometimes.
Unfortunately, the one-way 2 1/2 - 3 hr drive is just far enough to make it a bit difficult for a same day training session :( We miss you!!
