Discussion: BD- US Champs Lodging and Dinner Update

As of yesterday, the Comfort Inn (event HQ) is full. Fortunately the area has lots of other hotels, including some in the Choice Hotel chain that you can book for a discounted rate using the OUSA code (# 00228560). I'd suggest checking out reviews and maps on Tripadvisor before booking because quality can vary. The Comfort Inn in Concord, NH is an option too if you're not planning to come to the dinner.

Twin Oaks Campground, which is near the event site, is staying open for an extra weekend to accommodate orienteers. They still have lots of campsites plus one cabin. See the event flyer posted on www.upnoor.org to more info.

As of this morning only 37 dinner tickets are left, so reserve soon if you want to attend. Please see the event flyer for details on the menu and location.

UNO members are excited to welcome you to the Boulder Dash/ US Class Champs three weekends from now. Last day to register is October 10. See you in New Hampshire!

I just heard from the sales manager at the Comfort Inn. A couple of rooms have opened up, so please call 603-668-2600 if you want to try to book one of them. Kaitlin also suggested that people book somewhere else and then keep trying the Comfort Inn to see if they have any cancellations between now and the event. The orienteering room rate will continue to be in effect for us going forward.
