Discussion: Ugh

That sucks! Kat and I definitely thought about joining you for the potential ski when we got your message, but had just gotten back to New Haven and didn't feel like driving out again. Can't believe they closed the trails just because of a little rain...

Yeah, sorry message was so last minute, but all the better no one came up actually! Would be great to ski with you guys sometime though! Actually, where do you ski from New Haven, anywhere nearby?

It's just outside Hartford and has a nice trail network when there is snow. In the past, they also made a short loop when there was no snow and held Wednesday night races on it, but I am not sure if they are doing it this year. If they have any snow, I might try to come up for a Wednesday night in January sometime.

If anyone has spare stuff (no matter how old, I am not good enough to be fussy!) then I would love to join you guys for something like this too! Rob likes skiing too if it's when he's here! Let me know :)

We have a wide variety of XC skis and boots, some may even match. If a set fits you are welcome to it.

Sweet, well maybe if there is another coastal blizzard sometime again we can all meet up and ski there! The Wed eve races are mentioned on website, so hopefully they are still on this season... c'mon snow!

For borrowing stuff, I have extra size 42 2/3 boots that could be borrowed (prob not your size Becks? maybe Robs?), and skis if conditions are good (if not, need the less-good skis to ski on myself...) some extra poles that might be the right size for you to skate with Becks, if we ever do this, will just bring all this stuff!
