Orienteering race 1:12:00 [3]

Last Caledon Navigators Thomass. Great course, delicious food, gorgeous weather. Just about perfect. The extra handicap of 1 pt per 3 months of pregnancy also kept me from being waaaayyy at the back of the pack. :)

Actual time will have to be updated when results are up. I guessed at the time here.

Made it back to Tuesday am spinning with Funderstorm. Good to get to a morning class, starts the day with a bang... or maybe just some wheezing - whatever. ;) It was backwards day and I made it there before Funderstorm... it was a shocker. :)

Fun ski at Scenic Caves - it was really just about perfect weather. Beautiful moments with ice-lined tree branches with the sun filtering through them. A day to appreciate weather and being outside. :)

Much in need of some fresh air (and a break from day 7 in a row working) I headed out for an easy lope around our local park which has a few trails. Beautiful sunny day outside, nice to be out even if I couldn't get to the Thomass.

Body pump with Funderstorm this morning. Successfully got myself out of bed this morning to get to the gym. :) I think my Body pump days are coming to a close until post baby - some of those moves are becoming awkward, and not so comfortable - including clipping my belly for many of the bar weight moves. ;) I think I will have to stick to doing some weights on my own, and spin classes.

Okay, lesson learned this morning: At 6 months pregnant, an 11:30 bed time for a 5:20 wake up is NOT sufficient sleep to get my backside out of bed. I got up out of bed for spin class, nearly fell over, tried unsuccessfully to wake up for a couple of minutes, then gave up cause I felt like poop, and went back to bed for 2 hrs, which even put it past my normal 'wake-up' time. Man oh man. Early to bed tonight so I actually meet Funderstorm at class tomorrow - sorry about this morning!

Run (Trail) 59:30 [3]

Fun night-time trail run with Funderstorm at Columbia Forest. It was soooo good to get outside and do something fun. We had a blast trotting around the trails (walking hills for yours truly) and then doing a cross-country off-trail section to make our way back to the main trail. A really fun run followed by a tasty veggie burger at Ethels... how can you go wrong??

Alas, we have returned from Costa Rica (and 30 C days) to a chilly, but still not overly snowy winter. We had some nice beach days, and a couple of very low-level activity 'tours'. Time to get back into the groove of being active.
