bike (road) 45:00 [3]

easy recovery spin; hoping the birkie is going to happen, no snow due to the unseasonably warm weather, even in norther Wisconsin, it's melting; baahhh climate change!

xctry ski (roller ski) 40:00 [3] 4.0 mi (10:00 / mi)

1st time on roller skis. Bit of trip. took a few minutes to get the feel and remember ppl's advice; mostly did d-poling, and every once in while, I'd skate a few steps but went back to d-pole; keepin' it simple. Glad I did it, as it keeps me in touch with skiing and I can always do better technique. roller skis keep your foot placement honest, as I quickly found out.

1st group ride for me; interesting- stiff headwind made lots of work early. pushed well, glad I did it. legs got lit up...
