Orienteering 15:00 [2]
(injured)

I tried the CROC Urban Night-O.

Unfortunately, the bruise on my foot started to hurt pretty bad, and I decided to stop early. I was navigating pretty poorly anyway.
At least the socializing was good!

Short run at the saddle with Marieke. Really impressive how well she did!

Unspecified 15:00 [2]

Did a few minutes to warmup on cardio machines, streched, did a weight workout, then finished with some water running.

Strength 15:00 [3]

Upper body lifts

Note

Yikes! Added a new training types, and today's colors switched from orange to green and yellow. Those ducks are mucking things up!

Running 50:00 [3]

Was planning to do another loop from Lewisburg saddle, but got a late start and changed plans.
Instead I modified an old loop, starting from CV and heading to Chip Ross by Dans Trail. Then I looped back to Highland drive on the south side of Timberhill, past the water tanks.
Pretty fun run!

Ankle still weak, but held up good enough.

Orienteering (Mapping) 3:00 [1]

Based on the weather report, this will be my last mapping session for another week.

Running 1:00:00 [3] 7.5 mi (8:00 / mi)

Lewisburg Saddle. Started downhill to the north, and ran the old-growth trail. It was super foggy today, so the run felt really isolated, almost mythical. Ran out to the powderhouse trail, and then came back on the upper road.

As I ran uphill, I eventually broke through the fog, just in time to catch the bright orange colors of sunset behind Mary's Peak. Really pretty!

Orienteering (Mapping) 5:00 [1]

Upper Fitton Green. Spent most of the day, and accomplished quite a bit. The forest has more poison oak than I noticed during the scouting run though. Forest running will be extremely limited during the summer months.
