Inspired to ride after watching a CZ rider take the gold in men's mtb bike this morning ...awesome. Also huge props to Geoff Kabush (kickass sideburns!) for cracking the top ten. Lastly huge props also to Eric sister Emily for her 24th place yesterday after a crash/injury training earlier this week.

Best tweet of the day from @ReidCoolset:
"If you score the marathon (adding the place of all 3 runners) Canada finished 3rd today behind Kenya and Brazil."

Lastly, super stoked that someone has built a much needed small single track connector section at the west end of Sunnybrook. TOC needs a map update (cough, cough, not just for this but everything within the last decade up there). Now I can make it from Pottery all the way to the north end of Sunnybrook Park completely on single track ...thank you T-Dot Mtb community. I will state it here ...I need to go and volunteer to put in sometime for all the hard work they put into the DV trail system!

TOTNT "He's a tank" edition

- w/u
- x4 long intervals (loosely based on Loop 2 of RRR) every 10min.
- stairs (ten sets alternating singles and dbls)
- spants
- c/d

During the stairs two rather lovely looking young ladies past by as I flew up and I overheard one of them say "he's a tank" while looking my way. Now as a old man who is not up on the young peoples lingo and them being of African American decent, I of course rely on Urban Dictionary for my more urban definitions; it's either one of two definitions:

1. Any person who is exceptionally large, either in terms of height, wieght; being built.

or

2. Any person who is exceptionally strong.

I'm going to assume the later as I was looking particularly cut in my split shorts, singlet clinging to my hulking chest due to the rain, which was of course glistening off my radiant skin.

Man I'm "so street" or is that "so white"? ...I'm definitely one of those two.
