First day of training for coaching my sister's couch to 5k group. Nice stretch after yesterdays rogaine

Planned a cruisy 38km as Helen had not done more than this previously. Started well and kept up a reasonable pace but decided not to run too much as didn't want a total smash fest in the heat. By 4pm we were well in front of our plan so added in another loop out to 101 on the top left half of the map which had us strolling back in at 9.50 with some additional points in the bag. Mostly clean nav with only minor hold ups at 41 where we were a bit short, again short at 30 and just after dark and 80 was a little scary as was extremely broad but were lucky enough to walk just past it and double back to pick it up. Very enjoyable rogaine and nice not to feel too stressed and buggered, easy walking and nice features for CP's. Toenails a bit ugly as still recovering from Melbourne Marathon. Ended up either 5th or 6th with 2160 odd and 2nd women's. Well done to everyone and thanks setters and vetters for a great course.
